Title: Associate QA Engineer
Experience: 1.5 years to 3 years

At E2open, you will be an integral member of a dynamic organization, working on cutting-edge technology that transforms the way companies do business with their trading partners in complex, multi-tier supply chains. Currently, E2open is seeking an energetic Software QA Engineer to join our Research & Development Group. This position involves the development of leading-edge Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) supply chain management applications that drive complex multi-company supply chain management dashboards, workflows, and business-to-business supply chain data interchanges.
Responsibilities
- Candidates must have a proven working knowledge of Quality Assurance best practices including but not limited to governance, test management and automation tools and industry standard quality measures.
- The SQA Engineer will work to minimize manual testing by identifying high-ROI test cases and automating them.
- Designing, writing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts for APIs, platform and UI software components.
- This creative engineer is encouraged to make recommendations to improve product reliability, code coverage, performance, and quality assurance best practices/processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering equivalent
- Minimum of 1+ years experience in QA and Test Automation, preferably with Java and web applications.
- Responsible, organized and possess critical thinking with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to demonstrate good analytical problem-solving abilities and strong leadership aptitude
- Able to work at both abstract and detailed level
- Must be fluent in English, and strong communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter that likes to work as part of a team
Technical Requirements
- Overall 1 to 2 years of experience
- SQL/Database knowledge and be able to execute queries on any relational database
- Experience with QA Automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Junit, Test NG, JMeter,
- Have a good understanding of BDD/TDD concepts / Cucumber framework
- Knowledge of and experience using AWS (preferred).
- Bamboo, Jenkins or similar CI/Build systems, version control systems like SVN, GIT
- Ability to work within agile process scrums, sprints.
- Proficient in UI Automation, API automation
- Experience creating SQA validation artifacts
- Experience interpreting and analyzing stories or requirements to create effective scenarios
