We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a
Graphics and Multimedia Associate Professor at our college/university. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, multimedia production, and visual communication, as well as a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and teach courses in graphic design, multimedia production, and related subjects
- Mentor and advise students on their academic and professional development
- Demonstrate proficiency in typography principles and application across various design projects.
- Essential practical experience in utilizing Adobe Creative Suite tools for graphic design projects.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly work in the field of graphics and multimedia
- Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and initiatives
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies in graphic design and multimedia production
Qualifications
- Master degree or terminal degree in graphic design, multimedia, visual communication, or a related field
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level
- Demonstrated expertise in graphic design software, multimedia production tools, and visual communication principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
