ROLE: SAP APO SNP Lead
Role Description
- The APO SNP Lead role is a critical role related to implementation of process and technology solutions related to diagnosis, analysis and transformation of Supply Planning functions in a project.
- The following are key responsibilities Architecting, designing and helping build successful implementations of SAP APO SNP in customer organizations.
- Mentoring Junior APO Team members within the Organization on APO SNP
- Drive with building Assets and Accelerators within SAP APO SNP and reduce the overall cost to serve
Qualifications And Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP APO SNP modules
- At least 2 end to end APO SNP implementations not including rollouts
- Experience in SAP IBP and SAP certification would be an added advantage
PROCESS KNOWLEDGE
- Deep Process understanding of end to end Supply Chain planning, familiarity or expertise with SCOR model is preferred, technology agnostic
- Expertise in at-least 2 industries e.g. CPG, Chemical, Automotive, Life Sciences etc
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
- Good level of understanding of all modules of SAP APO with expertise in SNP.
- Deep knowledge and experience in end to end APO implementation projects in Process and Discrete industries.
- Ability to lead and conduct Design workshops in front of an audience comprising of both Business and IT teams.
- Ability to architect an end to end solution using APO SNP while understanding the integration aspects between different modules within APO as well as of APO with ERP systems
- Ability to work on complex configuration scenarios along with writing functional specifications for complex customizations
- Very good understanding of ECC Master data from planning standpoint
- Basic understanding of SAP PP
Experience And Deep Expertise
- Heuristics
- Knowledge in Location and Network heuristics
- Detailed configuration level knowledge in setting up Heuristics and related Master data
- Ability to model frozen zones along with lead times
- SNP Optimizer and or CTM
- Optimizer
- Expertise in Cost modelling
- Detailed configuration level knowledge in setting up Optimizer profiles along with related master data
- Expertise in Discrete and Linear Optimization
- Expertise in analysing Optimizer results
- CTM
- Expertise in setting up CTM profiles along with different settings
- Knowledge of Domino and Airline strategies
- Ability to analyse customer requirement and then suggest either SNP Optimizer or CTM for constrained planning.
- Deployment and TLB with Fair Share rules and Deployment Optimizer
- VMI i.e added advantage
- Forecast Consumption
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal as well as written
- Positive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environment
- Conduct trainings and be a mentor for junior APO team members
