Job Description

  • Interpret business requirements and convert them into parameters understandable by a mathematical engine .
  • Walk through airline processes and how an optimization engine will fit into their overall picture .
  • Set up reports to explain cause and effect to customers, in the context of the parameter changes requested .
  • Write Python scripts to help collate data and draw insights on optimization.
  • Explain the output of optimization engines in a way that highlights cause and effect.
Our ideal candidate has :
  • Bachelors (with Honours) or higher in Operations Research, Computer Science, or other related field .
  • Understanding of airline processes , specific to either Crew Planning or Disruption Management .
  • Previous experience with optimization engines in an airline context .
  • Python scripting abili ty.
