Alstom has established a strong presence in India. Currently, the company is executing metro projects in several Indian cities including Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow where it is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured out its state of the art facility at SriCity in Andhra Pradesh. In the Mainline space, Alstom is executing Signaling & Power Supply Systems for the 343 Km. section on World Bank funded Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. Phase 1 in the construction of the new electric locomotive factory for manufacturing and supply of 800 units of 12000HP locomotives is also complete at Madhepura, Bihar while the depot at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh is ready to commence operation. nOVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:n

To maintain the vehicles to standards of Quality, Cost and Delivery that meets the Customer expectations as a minimum.n

To carry out such maintenance work on a shift basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:n

• Preventive & Corrective maintenance of locomotives.
n
• Maintenance of underframe equipment.
n
• Maintenance of Air supply unit.
n
• Maintenance of brake equipment.
n
• Maintenance of HVAC unit.
n
• Maintenance of Roof equipment.
n
• Maintenance &Troubleshooting of Pneumatic system.
n
• Maintenance of traction motor assembly.
n
• Replacement of Traction motor, Transformer & other major equipment.
n
• Maintenance of car body shell.
n
• To report accidents/incidents.

n

• To adhere to Company procedures especially in relation to Quality and Health & Safety.
n
• Sound Knowledge of Design and preparation of Equipment Layout and Piping General Arrangement drawings and Checking.
n
• uNDERSTANDING WORK INSTRUCTIONS RELATED TO PIPING.
n
• Use proper tools and equipment to perform integrity management and regulatory tasks ON PIPELINES.
n
• Plan, organize and prioritize assigned responsibilities and work independently.
n
• Inspect, maintain and repair as needed all facilities as assigned, including but not limited to pipelines, compression, and measurement facilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

EDUCATION

Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical from recognized University.(Regular Course)

• Language Skills: Proficient in English language & Hindi.

IT Skills: MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)n
