BharatCares is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Manager for our Bio-Composting project focused on waste recycling and circular economy initiatives in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, waste management, or bio-composting, with a passion for fieldwork and community engagement.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of bio-composting and waste recycling projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Field Operations:
Conduct extensive fieldwork, including site assessments, community interactions, and project execution in various locations.Community Engagement:
Engage with local communities to promote waste recycling practices and bio-composting techniques, providing education and support.Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to waste management practices, project outcomes, and community impact, preparing detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Training and Capacity Building: Conduct training sessions and workshops for community members and project staff to enhance knowledge and practices in waste management and circular economy.
Sustainability Practices:
Implement and promote sustainable waste management practices, focusing on recycling and circular economy principles.Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation and community participation.
- Mandatory Qualification and Experience:
- Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, Bio-Composting, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of on-field experience in waste management, bio-composting, or related projects.
Strong knowledge of waste recycling, bio-composting, and circular economy principles.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Kannada and English.
- Ability to conduct and manage extensive fieldwork.
Proficient in using a laptop for data collection, reporting, and communication.
Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license.- Must have a personal laptop.
Willingness to engage in extensive fieldwork and travel.
