Desired qualifications: Full Time B.E./B.Tech from recognized university. M.E. / M.Tech. /MBA (sustainability or related field) is desired.
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the ESG/ sustainability/climate change domain preferably in metal industry.
Working experience in Steel plant operations is preferable.
Desired Skills:
Advanced knowledge of GHG accounting standards & methodologies like Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) , Product Carbon Footprint (PCF).
Working Experience in handling SAP system for GHG inventory data acquisition, cleaning, accounting and making assurance ready reports.
Experience in preparing communication templates on EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) for steel industry. Expertise in GaBI / SimaPro / relevant LCA assessment Software tools & other Enterprise ESG digital Tools.
Experience on Environment Product Declaration (EPD) assessment & certification.
Experience in Corporate Sustainability / De-carbonization Road map preparation & Project Management.
Knowledge on SBTi framework & implementation.
Knowledge on ESG Key Performance Indicator (KPI) , information collection, analysis & preparation of MIS for the same.
Experience on Integrated Reporting (IIRC) & BRSR reporting.
Excellent working knowledge on UN SDGs & ESG Rating frameworks (CDP, DJSI etc...).
Experience on various ESG & Sustainability related Awards participation & representing the organization at various Sustainability forums.
Good qualitative and quantitative skills with proficiency in statistical analysis on ESG data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong Presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate among various internal and external stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Preparation of GHG inventory under CCF (Scope-1, 2 & 3), PCF (Cradle to Gate/Grave), LCA & CBAM as per relevant accounting Methodologies.
Implementation of De-carbonization projects & evaluation of Carbon reduction achieved.
Ensuring SBTi alignment & compliance on Carbon reduction trajectory.
Execute data collection, analysis, and reporting for ESG KPIs, ensuring suitable communications to internal & external stake holders.
Handle different digital Tool for extraction of desired results through suitable Dashboards
Contribute to the development and management of ESG-related disclosures, policies, procedures, and programs.
Track and report on ESG performance metrics, progress towards goals, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Participate, represent & win various awards under ESG & Sustainability domain.
Stay updated on global & sectoral ESG best practices and regulatory developments
