Job Role: Associate Manager: Catalog
Catalog & Content Production:
Hold sole responsibility for the creation and production of cataloging content on-site, its quality, and consistency in alignment with the Hopscotch brand philosophy
Core Business Metrics - Cost of Catalog, Listing Turn-around-Time, Service Level Agreements, Productivity, Team Utilisation, Continuous Process Improvements, Content Quality, and Accountability for Cataloging Master Data for both marketplace and Hopscotch.
Led a team of 15+ catalog (content & image) associates who creates a daily catalog of over 500 products with information-rich content, and visuals & ensures the customer experience through great product discovery
Work closely with the leadership and analytical teams in understanding the buying/category forecast & catalog volumes for the year, business priorities, outlining operational budgets, cost of cataloging, and brand building
Responsible for working as part of the core team for all category launches while adhering to the maintenance of catalog quality across all platforms.
Ensuring all vendor listings on the marketplace meet brand guidelines with strict adherence by developing production workflows and process efficiencies. Vendor Management
Develop and sustain long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors for photoshoots, image editing, and cataloging.
Implementing vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are secured to build scalability and support catalog/studio standards.
Hosting pilots and onboarding Conducting interviews with new vendors and informing approved vendors of their responsibilities and obligations.
Managing multiple Vendors - Production Companies for executing projects and Content Vendors, from framing contracts to signing agreements with legal depts and execution.
Quality-related audit process - Evaluating current vendor performance & quality adherence by establishing standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors.
Continuous process improvement initiatives to improve vendor performance. Basic Qualifications
4+ years experience in digital catalog production, preferably in fashion retail/e-commerce.
Working autonomously, thinking strategically and tactically, and taking full control and responsibility for achieving goals.
Experience leading process improvements. Enjoys driving projects and initiatives forward, finds a way to get to yes
Demonstrated ability to work in a team and assist team members on complex issues
Ability to communicate findings and concepts to Senior Leadership
Basic to moderate dive deep, data interpretation, logical reasoning, and analytical skill set.
Formulate, Implement, and Track the career path & Individual Development Plans of each member of the team
Proven experience working and managing vendors for digital content.
Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skills
