Responsibilities
Work in coordination with site people Project Manager, Civil Lead, Mechanical Led, BMS
lead, Electrical Lead.
Ensuring with the contractor's safety team that all the safety measures are met and
followed. Monitoring to ensure that all the safety aspect is happening as per our safety
policies and practices and will be reporting with safety head at corporate office.
Role will be acting from owner side and owner representative
Will have to add more value and innovate new things
Ensure no incidents happen
Ensure High level of safety compliance at site
Generate report, take action, find out any gap, ensure no incident
Ensure PMC and contractor safety team is aligned with our safety policies and processes.
Main responsibility is to diminish or eliminate work-related accidents.
However, if an accident occurs, the safety officer will conduct a safety investigation to
determine root causes, what procedures may have gone wrong, and to gather the evidence
necessary to identify the cause of the accident.

Provides training to employees on safety topics required by the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration (OSHA). These include fire prevention plans, machine guarding and
hazardous materials handling.
Responsible for reviewing and meeting all safety standard requirements for record-keeping.
Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
Conducts toolbox meetings (informal Safety meeting)
The safety officer reviews and approves all subcontractor's safety plans
Verifies that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted to related government
agencies
Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
Promotes safe practices at the job site.
Enforces safety guidelines.
Trains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations.
Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses.
Reports to concerned authorities as requested or mandated by regulations.
Conducts job hazard analyses.
Establishes safety standards and policies as needed.
Performs emergency response drills.
Watches out for the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous
situations.
Responds to employees safety concerns.

Coordinates registration and removal of hazardous waste.
Serves as the link between state and local agencies and contractors
Arranges for OSHA mandated testing and/or evaluations of the workplace by external

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory: B.E. in Fire & Safety/Environmental Science or Mechanical/Electrical/Civil with Advance
Diploma in Industrial Safety,
Or M. Tech in Industrial Safety
Experience
5-7 years relevant and similar capacity in Safety
