Value Creation: Collaborate with startup founders to propel growth by addressing revenue, capital, and talent-related obstacles. Position yourself as the go-to individual for founders.
Identification and Cultivation: Identify companies with the potential to reshape entire industries and contribute to the emergence of the next Indian unicorn.
Governance: Strengthen investor confidence through robust investment governance.
What Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Aptitude Will Drive Your Success
Skills: Proficiency in written and oral communication, numerical dexterity, presentation skills, negotiation prowess, research abilities, and creative problem-solving.
Knowledge: Acumen in business-related subjects, finance, technology/DeepTech, venture capital, and startups.
Experience: Ideally, a minimum of two years of experience in research, startups, VCs, problem-solving, or entrepreneurship.
Aptitude: Self-motivated, inquisitive, attentive listener, assertive, analytical, outcome-oriented, persevering, team player, thought leader, and proactive in ensuring tasks are completed.

What Will You Be Accountable For
Developing Compelling Investment Cases
Your success, as an integral member of the portfolio team, is intricately intertwined with the success of our portfolio companies. The role encompasses various dimensions, including:
- Craft and present persuasive investment cases.
- Create and negotiate term sheets and oversee due diligence processes.
- Ensure seamless investment execution and manage partner rights for sustained growth.
Empowering Founders And Their Teams
- Cultivate meaningful, empathetic relationships with founders in our portfolio.
- Collaboratively establish milestones and KPIs to steer startups.
- Provide continuous support to facilitate a secure and stress-free entrepreneurial journey.
Governance Of The Fund And Investments
- Diligently maintain documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Standardize business processes across portfolio companies.
- Conduct biannual fund valuations and oversee exit processes, including strategic sales, IPOs and buybacks.
What Skills and Qualifications Are Required
We gauge success at YourNest based on a candidate's fervor for startups transformative potential in reshaping India's trajectory, rather than mere academic achievements or accolades. A solid understanding of technology (B.Tech/ M.Tech) or a strong interest in the field, finance, and/or venture capital (such as participation in a CFA course), along with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in any domain where outcomes were a focal point, is preferred. Additionally, the entrepreneurial spirit is a must.
