- Preferred experience in the financial services industry
- Professional accounting qualification preferred but not mandatory
- Accounting degree is required
- Preferred experience in private equity.
- Working experience with UK or US GAAP is required; Canadian GAAP or LUX GAAP is beneficial but not mandatory
- Experience with FIA (Front Invests Analytics) is optional
- Strong proficiency in accounting databases and report generation

- Prepare and review quarterly financial accounts for Client-managed funds in adherence to relevant accounting standards
- Gain understanding of client reporting needs and existing report structures, ensuring accurate deliverables
- Maintain accounting records, ensuring data accuracy and familiarity with Colmores processes for maximum efficiency
- Produce timely and precise year-end support files for annual audits as necessary
- Draft quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP, US GAAP, Canadian GAAP, and Lux GAAP
- Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audit and tax engagements and ensure timely completion
- Document and update accounting procedures and templates as needed
- Complete regulatory returns for different jurisdictions as required
- Understand the cash management functions of the funds and liaise with other departments and clients for timely settlements
- Support the treasury team as needed, including bank reconciliations, cash management reports, liquidity monitoring, and invoice/payment processing
As an Associate in Fund Accounting, you will report to a Vice President and primarily assist in accounting, reporting, treasury, audit, and tax functions for assigned private equity funds, including primary and secondary brackets, direct investment funds, clean energy funds, structured products, private credit funds, and Luxembourg investment vehicles.
