Pentair Pool's trainees gain broad exposure to varied areas of opportunities including Product Design &
Development, VAVE, Field Failure RCA, Quality, Testing and sustaining engineering (PCO/ECN) projects.
Experienced managers and mentors ensure development during their assignments. Trainee will build leadership and
functional skills through structured and challenging hands-on experience complemented by classroom trainings.
Essential Job Responsibilities Will Include
- Hand calculations, detail design activities, DFMEA, technical documentations.
- Evaluate product designs, create, and revise drawings for compliance with engineering principles, Pentair
Standards, Customer Requirements, Existing Manufacturing Capabilities And Related Specifications.
- Execute complex projects with 2Ddrawings, 3D modelling, tolerance stacks, GD&T, database environment /
PLM, design for manufacturability and design for assembly.
- Work in synergy with global engineers, quality teams, manufacturing engineers, sourcing, suppliers, field
support and others to improve product quality and customer experience.
- Drive technical root cause analysis of field failures and identify corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

- Hands on knowledge of Solidworks 2D drawing/3D modeling will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of project management skills to be able to consistently meet deadlines.
Qualifications And Experience
Full time B.Tech/M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, from a premier (tier-1 or tier-2) engineering
institute with min 7.0 CGPA or 70% marks throughout education.
