Responsibilities
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Responsible to understand the Engine/Genset project requirements from lead engineers and execute the modelling and detailing tasks adhering to required standards.
Participate in project meetings and understand the scope and execute the modelling/detailing activity till print releasing as per the expected quality and velocity.
Manage Query/Disputes related to project tasks.
Regular status updates to Project Lead/Manager.
Actively contribute towards Cost reduction/Savings and Prevent Part Proliferation drives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in modelling and detailing of Engine/Genset components.
Good GD&T Knowledge and well versed in component detailing like Casting, Sheet metals and Fluid lines (Tubes and Hose drawings.)
PLM (Teamcenter) Knowledge is essential.
Good Excel & PowerPoint skills are required for Project tracking and Reporting.
Desired Skills
Previous work experience in Modelling/Detailing on Engine/Genset components.
Good Understanding of Engineering Print Reading.
Prior Experience on Caterpillar Systems like PRWB, EDS, Teamcenter, Vis-Mock-up.
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks.
Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers from different geographical locations.
Relocation is available for this position.
