Job Description

Job Title: Project Associate Director

Job Location: Mumbai, India
Job Type : Hybrid


This resource will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects that involve multiple stakeholders. This role requires leading cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards. This resource also acts as a primary point of contact between the project team and senior leadership, providing regular updates and addressing issues that arise.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor the progress of all the projects within manufacturing network.

  • Lead the governance and framework of divisional and LT meetings/Workshops

  • Responsible to coordinate the program of multiple workstreams, including LCP, and others (e.g.., R&D, marketing & sales, IP)

  • Act as a single window to provide operations team's inputs to Project LCP Team. Responsible to deliver the operational aspects of the project

  • Evaluation of project results, transfer decisions and scope changes prior reporting/submission to SteerCo Forum

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. Lead project kickoff meetings, define roles and responsibilities, and manage the day-to-day operations of the project.

  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, provide updates on project progress, and manage any changes to project scope or objectives.

  • Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the project budget, track expenses, and ensure that the project stays within financial limits. Secure and manage the necessary resources, including internal team members and external vendors.

  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve problems as they arise to keep the project on track.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring team members are motivated and focused on project goals.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and are completed according to the agreed-upon specifications.

  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and prese nt project status reports to senior leadership, documenting progress, risks, issues, and key decisions made.

You bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business or related field

  • 10-15 years of experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects.

  • PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable.

  • Agile and pro-active relationship management in a multi-matrix organization

  • Few years of experience in plant operations management

  • Excellent communication skills: simplifying the complex, making the message /request clear, providing options/proposals, ability to focus on the purpose and outcome.

  • Good command of English and Hindi, written and verbal
