Summary
Location: Hyderabad This role is responsible for ensuring that enterprise data management guidelines, processes, capabilities, and controls are effectively implemented through the strategic programs scope of activity to drive the value of data into the programs. This person acts to drive a data lifecycle perspective through coordinating multi-functional and cross data domain decision making aligned with Enterprise standards
About The Role
Your responsibilities include but not are limited
- Main responsibility of data management, process management and adoption of EDM data practices in the business domains, data programs
- Responsible for clear definition of data lifecycle processes and facilitate implementation of the data lifecycle through appropriate guidelines, playbooks creation
- Responsible for education, training, guidance and adoption of data lifecycle processes, frameworks and controls across strategic programs in alignment with the enterprise and domain data strategies
- Critical liaison between enterprise data team and the strategic programs in ensuring that the enterprise data management principles are embedded and adopted across domains Work with the teams in collection, analysis and reporting the metrics for data governance, strategy etc. in all areas of data management across domains
- Exercises clear and informed decision-making using processes transparent to customers for data related topics, keeping in touch with every partner regularly. Facilitating meetings for the senior customers & teams (preparing, moderation and post processing). Holding retrospectives to refine approach.
- Responsible for integration and alignment with enterprise business process excellence workstream to facilitate data management in driving business outcomes
- Partners with data lead(s) in strategic programs to drive the implementation of mature data management processes and capabilities aligned to Enterprise-level efforts. Key areas of focus include data modeling, master and reference data management, data cataloging, data quality management, and data publishing.
- Acts as data governance and data management domain expert for the strategic program and ensures implementation data controls, manages exceptions and critical issues. Support the program management, literacy and change management agenda of the EDM organization.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant experience in Data Management & Data Strategy, with at least 2 years in Pharma/Healthcare.
- In-depth experience of data governance /information management practices, systems and processes including data governance, data modelling, master data management, meta-data management, data quality management
- Ability to build strong and trusted relationships with senior level business and technical partners. Strong Data modelling experience is desired. Experience with ERP implementations in a large, multi-national environment
- Strong business process savvy, with focus on business processes enabled in ERP platforms
- Workflow capability that operationalises the data supply chain and data usage across the data ecosystem and the manner in which users/applications interact with system
- Data Quality and profiling capability to help identify and govern condition of a set of values of qualitative or quantitative variables.
- Understand data Ownership capability for applying quality control field to assessing, managing, using, improving, monitoring, maintaining, and protecting organizational information.
- Cross-industry experience highly preferred. 4+ years of international experience working with Global teams
