nJob Summary:n
- The Associate Director, Account Receivable will oversee the management and optimization of Account Receivables, ensuring, efficient collections, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and enhance operational efficiencies.
- nLocated either at our Chennai, Hyderabad, or Coimbatore Service Delivery Centers (SDC). If not located at the colleague SDC then monthly travel is required.n
Essential Functions and Tasks:n
nFunction:n
- Lead and manage the Account Receivable operations.
nTeam Management:n
- Lead and mentor a team of accounts receivable professionals, including follow up specialists and denials specialists.
nCollections Management:n
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Accounts Receivables process, reducing bad debt and improving cash flow.
nDenial Management:n
- Analyze and address denials to improve reimbursement rates and reduce write-offs.
nRegulatory Compliance:n
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to billing and collections, including HIPAA and Stark Law.
nReporting:n
- Prepare and analyze reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounts receivable performance, such as days in AR and other key metrics.
nAccount Receivables:
- nDevelop and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle performance and reduce days in accounts receivable.
- nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior leadership on revenue cycle performance and trends.
- nCollaborate with other teams to resolve billing issues and enhance the overall client experience.
nTraining:n
- Collaborate with Training and QA teams to provide training and support to revenue cycle staff, promoting best practices.
nContinuous Improvement:n
- Review the process continuously to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
nCollaboration:n
- Foster strong relationships with other stakeholders to facilitate efficient and effective resolution.
nEducation and Experience Requirements:n
- College graduate in any stream. Preferred from Healthcare related streams.
- nMinimum of 10 years of experience in core revenue cycle management, in the healthcare sector.
nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:n
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, billing practices, and reimbursement methodologies.
- nExcellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
- nProven leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving performance improvement.
- nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- nProficient in revenue cycle management software, electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology tools.
- nUnderstanding of federal, state, and local regulations related to healthcare billing and collections.
- nExcellent problem-solving skills.
