Division Profile
The Wealth Management Platforms organization manages digital platforms and experiences across the Advisor, Workplace and Direct channels, ensuring that our capabilities lead the industry and are delivered and integrated seamlessly.
Position Summary
This role specifically sits on the Data Strategy and Delivery Team, which serves as a utility across the WM Platforms Organization looking to create consistent and reliable reporting for internal stakeholders to assist management with data-driven business solutions. The role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, comfort working with large datasets, tools to visualize data and the ability to effectively communicate for project planning. The ability to effectively communicate and present to stakeholders during the duration of the project will also be critical to success on the team. Prior experience working with Tableau is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
Assist with developing strategic reporting solutions for business stakeholders
Think through the end-to-end process of data origination, data model building and then visualization for optimal effectiveness
Liaise across, and outside of the Organization to help advance projects
Present and clearly explain process and rationale for proposed ideas and solutions
Experience
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or other related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in wealth management, statistics, mathematics, or careers where a similar skill set is developed and demonstrated
- Technical aptitude and desire to learn new applications and processes
Required Skills
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to effectively summarize datasets
- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on key Excel functionality (i.e., pivot tables and lookup functions), along with PowerPoint for building impactful presentations.
- Prior experience with Tableau is preferred
- Ability to manage ambiguity and bring focus with recommendations on solving tactical and strategic challenges
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team, and under strict and changing deadlines
- Strong sense of ownership, organization, communication, and accountability
