Overview:

As an Associate, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of the company. This includes preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and performing various accounting tasks to support our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures daily transactions such as payment, receipts ,invoicing ,sales & purchases are accurately recorded in Quick books accounting software.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, making payments, and collecting outstanding receivables.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including IGAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant tax laws.
• Assist with tax preparation and filing of GST return.
• Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
• Utilize accounting software and systems effectively, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Filling of W-8BEN form to US IRS

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Inter CA

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in Stock Broking Industry

Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of MS Excel is must.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of US Tax Regulations.
