Job Summary
Associate Business Analyst works with India team / consultants and managers in the US to manage the projects related to transaction tax compliance, reconciliation and report preparation. This role involves working on huge client databases, developing required procedures and managing project communications.
Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan's Key Results
People
- Create a positive team experience
- Attend and actively participate in meetings, offering ideas, insights and recommendations towards process improvements, which will enable team to improve its overall efficiency
- Communicate with US counterparts to address any quarries that they have / to let them know the status of the projects received.
Client
- Respond to client, clients are not limited to external however provide proactive work status update to US / India liaison
- Prepare reports as per the requirements from consultants
- Ensure adherence to Service Line Agreement always
- Ensure quality work product is delivered by adhering to all the Quality Assurance & control measures laid out without any deviation.
Value
- Work on projects related to data importing, cleansing, transforming, validating or modeling data
- Write Database Queries in SQL Server
- Reconcile the values from different data sources
- Develop an understanding of Ryan service offerings
- Work under minimum supervision post training and comply with established procedures or as directed by Assistant Manager/ Manager
- Perform quality assurance as required
- Complete tasks assigned by Management with a sense of urgency and confidentiality where needed.
Education And Experience
- Any master's or bachelor's Degree
- 0-2 years of experience on SQL Server and Java.
Skills
To perform the job successfully, the candidate should have a basic understanding of Tax and accounting concepts and good analytical & problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail, ability to meet strict deadlines and good communication skills is critical. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, Internet navigation and research, basic knowledge on SQL queries and databases is required.
