2-4 years of BIS functional experience of Investment Banking
Post-graduation in Finance or equivalent qualification (CFA, MBA [Finance], CA or equivalent)
Industry Focus (Coverage) :
Exposure to different sectors such as Industrial, Consumer, Healthcare, Technology etc. or Generalist
Job Description :
Sourcing company fillings (10K/ARS,10Q,Proxy) and Presentations from available sources
Sourcing subscription based research reports as per the bankers requirement
Researching and gathering industry and company data based on client requests
Company and industry news runs from primary as well as secondary data sources
Conducting background research independently, and documenting the findings in a concise format in MS-Excel, MS-Word, and/or MS-PowerPoint
League table analysis
Working with specialized data sources such as Thomson Reuters, Euro monitor, Frost & Sullivan, Gartner, CapIQ, Mergermarket, Bloomberg, Pitchbook, Lexis Nexus, IBIS world and creating/ maintaining MS-Excel based data-bases
Key Responsibilities
Strong financial and analytical skills to assess the economic performance/analysis of companies and industries for clients
Should work independently and have the management/leadership skills to run the research on a day-to-day basis
Managing the project timelines and quality of deliverables ensuring high client satisfaction
Conducting analysis and performing quality control check of the outgoing reports/packs
Should be able to impart training to junior members in the team
Experience in analyzing industry trends and evaluating business dynamics
Generating ideas and creating presentations as part of pitch books
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (Excel VBA knowledge is an added advantage)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Expert knowledge on financial databases(Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters, Pitchbook, Merger Market)
