Job Description

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an analytics consultant who can create metrics and reports, perform analyses, provide feedback, and deliver insights to support decision making for various enterprise and business initiatives and strategies for areas related but not limited to customer and product profitability, business opportunity pipeline, sales tracking, liquidity financial trends and compliance risk management.

In this role, you will:

  • Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors.
  • Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements.
  • Lead or participate on large cross group projects.
  • Mentor less experienced staff
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced Power BI or Tableau skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to research, trend, and analyze data
  • Expert knowledge of VBA coding
  • Ability to prepare presentations, management reporting, and statistical analysis
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Ability to provide independent summaries and recommendations on operational data
  • Experience working with finance applications
  • Experience with metric development, creation, and automation

Job Expectations:

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: analytics, reporting, financial modeling, statistical modeling, finance, or accounting.
  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: analytics, reporting, financial modeling, statistical modeling, finance, or accounting.
  • 5+ years of experience developing in Excel/VBA
  • 3+ years of experience with Tabular models
  • 3+ years of experience with Power BI/Tableau, PowerApps, Power Automate
  • 3+ years of experience in an environment that utilizes large relational datasets such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Teradata or SSAS Tabular
  • 1+ years of experience in MDX query building
  • Shift Timings: 1.30PM to 10.30PM IST
