Assistant Sustainability Manager
What this job involves:
The Assistant Sustainability Manager will form part of the APAC Sustainable Operations function within one of JLL's key Client portfolio driving strategy toward a sustainable future.
The role will provide integrated support to all services in driving sustainability across our portfolio, supporting the planning and implementation of initiatives, and the collation and analysis of data to report on progress. The Assistant Sustainability Manager will support the Regional Sustainability Programme Manager and will work closely with our data management team as well as local, regional, and functional leads within our wider account team, our client organisation, as well as other key Client Suppliers. In addition:

- You are responsible for leveraging your expertise to find actionable insights from our data and translate it into action, clearly communicating the what, so what and now what. What your day-to-day will look like:
- Assist in implementing the regional sustainability program in alignment with global strategy.
- Support continuous improvement by reviewing performance metrics, processes, and tools, identifying issues, and recommending enhancements.
- Engage with regional stakeholders like clients, suppliers, subject matter experts to support sustainability initiatives and projects.
- Undertake analysis to identify and evaluate potential sustainability initiatives and projects aligned to organisational goals and requirements.
- Support sustainability training and engagement activities to foster a culture of sustainability within the organisation, client, and supply chain partners.
- Monitor market intelligence; emerging trends, regulations, incentives, technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities, risks, and drive innovation.
- Follow required management and analysis processes and quality control to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality programme deliverables.
- Undertake training, seek guidance, and pursue professional development opportunities to strengthen your understanding of sustainability concepts, initiatives, and programme management.
Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:
- Experience of sustainable solutions in facilities management services with knowledge of sustainability principles and concepts related to the built environment.
- Understanding of program management principles - planning, risk, stakeholder engagement, etc.
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Strong communication skills - presentations, reports, training materials for varied audiences.
- Multitasking capabilities to manage multiple workstreams and adapt to changing priorities.
- Problem-solving mindset to analyse challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Analytical skills, and competence with large sustainability related data sets, to conduct assessments, identify efficiency opportunities across portfolio.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and sustainability data management tools/platforms.
- Familiarity with environmental management systems and/or green building rating systems, certification requirements, processes and documentation.
