Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and develop new client accounts within the freight forwarding industry (air, sea, and land transport)
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective planning and execution

Customer Relationship Management:- Act as a key point of contact for customers, understanding their specific logistics needs, and offering appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations
- Provide regular updates on freight trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to the management team

Market Research & Strategy:- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities
- Assist in the development of sales strategies, pricing structures, and business development plans to increase market share
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to promote the company and generate leads

Reporting & Forecasting:- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activity, and pipeline development through CRM systems
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to the Sales Manager
- Prepare forecasts based on market trends, ensuring the sales strategy aligns with business objectives

Team Support & Leadership:- Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless service to clients
- Provide support to the Sales Manager in driving team performance, sharing market insights, and coordinating client solutions
- Train and mentor junior sales staff as needed
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of air, sea, and road freight, as well as knowledge of customs clearance and international trade regulations.
Sales Skills: Proven track record in achieving sales targets, client acquisition, and business development in the logistics sector.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
