Role: Assistant Sales Manager
Reporting to: Director of Sales

Responsible for proactively soliciting and managing group/catering-related opportunities. Actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Ensures business is turned over properly. Assists the Sales Manager in driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. Assists the Sales Manager in day-to-day activities related to the sales function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales objectives, to develop strategies to maximize RevPAR, profitability and grow market share.
Functions as a team member of the hotels Sales Department and is responsible for property reactive and proactive account sales and segment sales, local and social catering sales, business travel sales, reservation sales and destination sales.
Responsible for achieving revenue goals, guest, associate satisfaction and the financial performance of the department.
Participates in meetings with the entire team to ensure effective & synchronized approach for the achieving the targets.
Analyses the competition information along with DOS & team for effective pricing of the hotel.
Plans Sales Blitz & reviews reports for the feeder cities for the hotel.
Provides customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Ensure strong partnerships with local organizations to further increase brand/product awareness.
Ensures to manage internal key stakeholder relationships.
Job Requirements
Primary Skills: Sales and Marketing
BBA - MBA in Sales and Marketing/ Hotel Management.
2 - 4 Years of Experience.
