EVOK EXPERIENCE JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Assistant Sales Manager Location: Ahmedabad 1. Sales Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with the Team to develop and execute sales strategies aimed at maximizing revenue and occupancy rates. Assist in identifying target markets and segments, and devise plans to penetrate these markets effectively. Utilize market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and competitors, adjusting strategies as necessary. 2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new opportunities for business development. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and site inspections to highlight hotel facilities and secure business. 3. Sales Coordination and Support: Collaborate with various departments within the H.O, including reservations, catering, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales contracts and events. Assist in preparing sales contracts, proposals, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Provide support to the sales team by coordinating sales activities, generating reports, and maintaining sales databases. 4. Revenue Management: Work closely with revenue management teams to analyze pricing and demand trends, making recommendations to optimize revenue and occupancy. Monitor booking patterns, analyze market demand, and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability. 5. Marketing and Promotions: Support marketing initiatives by providing input on promotional campaigns, advertising materials, and online presence. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales collateral, including brochures, presentations, and sales kits. 6. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue performance. Generate regular sales reports, analyzing key metrics and providing insights to management. 7. Training and Development: Provide guidance and support to junior sales staff, assisting in their training and development. Stay updated on industry best practices and participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field. Proven experience in hotel sales, preferably in a supervisory or assistant managerial role. Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events. Knowledge of revenue management principles and practices is a plus. Knowledge of Travel trade and B2B is a bonus.
