Job Description
We are looking for dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Managers to join our team in
Salem. The ideal candidates will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily
operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Supervise and manage staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing and resolving customer inquiries and
complaints.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock.
- Implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to keep the team informed and motivated.
- Prepare and analyze reports on restaurant performance, including sales, expenses, and
customer feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the
restaurant or hotel industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in using restaurant management software and point of sale (POS) systems.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
