Project Name: DEDICATED FREIGHT CORRIDOR CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED Project Management Consultancy Phase 2.
Functional Area: Assistant Resident Engineer Track Welding
Location: ZMT 1, Navi Mumbai
Duration: 28 man-months and extendable as per mutual agreement.
Minimum Criteria
Qualification: B. Tech / Diploma - Civil.
Overall Professional Experience: More than 8 years experience for B. Tech candidates and 13 years for Diploma Candidates.
Experience in similar/equivalent position: More than 6 years experience in metro projects into execution/supervision/monitoring and Project Management.
Functional Role: Assistant Resident Engineer: Track Welding shall be responsible for all below mentioned work.
Communication Management: Establish and pursue Communication Procedure (Additional) - Internal Communication, Communication with Client, Communication with Contractors
Coordination with Client: Coordinate with respective HQ and divisions of Zonal Railways and DFCCIL Regional / Site Offices.
Carry out Regular Site Inspection: Conduct regular field checks and tests to ensure that work has been carried out as per agreed specification and standards, Specify the system of test checks for Contractor's Requests for Inspection (RFI) at all appropriate level by Supervisor, ARE, and RE.
Carry out all tests specified in the related schedule of the Contract and issue Completion Certificate / Provisional Certificate.
Integrate as built drawings prepared by the Contractors: Review the As Built Drawings for each component of the works prepared by the Contractors and determine their acceptability, Responsible to obtain all records of completion drawings and completion documents from the contractor and prepare completion estimates in accordance with provisions of Indian Railways Engineering Code.
Scrutinize registration of daily consumption of material, various activities/output of design and construction activities to be maintained by the contractor.
Should have knowledge and work experience of Flash Butt Welding of rails.
