Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Assistant QC & PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control and pre-delivery inspection within the automobile, robotics or automation industry. This role involves ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of robotic machines before delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control (QC) inspections on robotic machines to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to verify that all components, systems, and features function correctly before dispatch.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software-related defects in robotic systems.
  • Work closely with the production, assembly and testing teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain inspection records, test reports and quality documentation for compliance and tracking purposes.
  • Assist in developing and improving QC processes, testing procedures, and checklists for robotic machines.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards in all quality control processes.
  • Come up with ideas and feedback for improvement in overall quality of the product and process.
  • Provide technical support for resolving customer complaints related to product quality and performance.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, testing, or pre-delivery inspection of robotics, automation, or industrial machines.
  • Strong knowledge of robotic systems, sensors, actuators, and automation technologies will be preferred.
  • Familiarity with QC tools, testing methods, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficiency in using measuring instruments and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with programming or configuring robotic systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC programming, industrial automation, or embedded systems is advantageous.
