Title: Assistant Project Manager (Interiors)
Job Summary:
Graniti Vicentia, a US-based company specializing in interior design solutions, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with a background in civil/architecture/interior design to join our team in Hyderabad, India. The ideal candidate is responsible for facilitating the coordination of architectural and civil engineering activities, managing sales orders and purchase orders, coordinating procurement processes, utilizing spreadsheet formulas for data analysis, overseeing shop drawings, and coordinating with vendors to support construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Issuing Sales Orders and Purchase Orders: Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to facilitate the issuance of sales orders and purchase orders for materials and services.
- Vendor Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, ensuring timely communication, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.
- Estimation and Budgeting: Assist in project estimation and budgeting processes, leveraging your experience in interiors to provide accurate cost assessments.
- Excel Skills: Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage project data, track expenses, and generate reports for analysis.
- Review Vendor Quotations: Evaluate vendor quotations, comparing prices, specifications, and terms to make informed procurement decisions.
- Bid Revisions: Coordinate bid revisions with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with project requirements and budget constraints.
- Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and correspondence with vendors.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Background in Civil/Architecture/Interior Design: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Interiors Experience: Previous experience in interior design projects, with a solid understanding of materials, finishes, and construction processes.
- Estimation Experience: Proficiency in project estimation techniques, with the ability to accurately forecast costs and timelines.
- Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions, formulas, and data analysis tools.
- Vendor Management: Demonstrated experience in coordinating with vendors, negotiating contracts, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
