Position Overview: We are looking for dedicated and experienced faculty members to teach in our MBA program. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in business education, a commitment to teaching excellence, and the ability to engage and inspire students. Faculty members will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing course materials, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our MBA program.
Key Responsibilities:
a. Teaching:
- Deliver engaging and effective instruction in MBA courses, both online and in-person.
- Develop and update course lecture materials, and assessments.
- Use innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
b. Research and Scholarship:
- Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations.
- Stay current with developments in the field of business and management.
- Contribute to the academic community through participation in conferences and professional organizations.
c. Service:
- Participate in departmental and university committees and initiatives.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters.
- Engage in community service and outreach activities.
d. Professional Development:
- Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance teaching and research skills.
- Participate in faculty development programs and workshops.
Qualifications:
a. Education:
- A PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- An MBA with significant professional experience may be considered for certain positions.
- Specializations: Technology Management, Statistics, Economics, General Management, Finance & Accounting, marketing, Human Resources, Operations Management.
b. Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in teaching MBA or graduate-level business courses.
- A strong record of scholarly research and publications (preferred).
- Relevant industry experience in business or management (preferred).
c. Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
