Job Description

TEXchange is looking for Assistant Merchant to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

  • Identify, source, and procure merchandise/products for sale in accordance with company objectives and customer demands.

  • Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with vendors/suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and optimize product assortments.
  • Develop pricing strategies and promotional plans in collaboration with the marketing team to drive sales and profitability.
  • Maintain relationships with existing suppliers while continuously seeking new partnerships to expand product offerings.
  • Monitor sales performance, track merchandise movement, and identify opportunities for improvement.
