Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager - Taxation to oversee all compliance and taxation-related activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, comprehensive knowledge of tax laws, and the ability to manage and mentor a team. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure tax compliance and optimize tax strategies.
Conduct GST Audits & Assessments and ensure regular compliance.
Ensure timely submission of GST compliance filings.
Manage TDS/TCS compliances.
Oversee allied compliances such as PF, Professional Tax (PTAX), ESIC, and Shop Establishment Act.
Handle Income Tax Return compliances.
Ensure timely filing of 15CA/CB forms.
Continuously update knowledge on tax laws and implement internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance. Monitor and ensure adherence to changing tax laws and regulations.
Manage and coordinate tax audits, including preparing and submitting necessary documentation.
Assist in developing and implementing tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Provide guidance on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to integrate tax planning into the overall financial strategy
Handled GST Audit in individual capacity.
Familiarity with ERP systems.
Excellent in MS EXCEL
