Assistant Manager - Social Media & Content
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media & Content Specialist to join our ecommerce agency. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing social media strategies, producing high-quality content, and strategising visually appealing graphics for our clients ecommerce businesses. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can manage internal design and content teams while managing client needs and deadlines
Key Responsibilities
- Strategize, manage, and implement social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube and LinkedIn.
- Align with the brands voice and strategize and manage clients social media, email campaigns, blogs, and website pages
- Manage and mentor the design team and ensure visually appealing graphics, including images, videos, infographics, and GIFs, that effectively communicate the brand's messaging and products.
- Collaborate with the internal team to brainstorm and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and initiatives that increase brand awareness.
- Track and analyze performance metrics to measure the success of campaigns and optimize content accordingly.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media and design trends and incorporate them into our strategies and content.
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as digital agencies and influencers.
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Fast learner with an ability to adapt techniques based on requirements.
- Thorough understanding of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Josh etc)
- A creative mindset and willingness to think outside the box to create engaging content.
- Strong data analysis skills to analyse key metrics of campaign success
- A team player who is willing to work with various internal and external stakeholders and clients.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in social media management and content creation.
- Strong knowledge of various social media platforms and their audiences, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging and effective content for social media, including text, graphics, and videos.
- Proficiency in content management systems and social media management tools.
- Experience in managing and analyzing social media campaigns, including monitoring performance metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good time management and multitasking skills.
- Understanding of analytics and metrics to measure the success of social media campaigns.
