Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager - SEO to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in search engine optimization, a keen understanding of current SEO trends, and the ability to develop and implement effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and drive traffic to the website.
- Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities and optimize existing content.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and industry best practices.
On-Page and Off-Page Optimization:
- Implement on-page SEO techniques, including meta tags, header tags, image optimization, and URL structure improvements.
- Manage off-page SEO activities such as link-building campaigns, guest posting, and social media engagement.
Content Optimization:
- Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content.
- Ensure content is optimized for target keywords and follows SEO best practices.
Technical SEO:
- Perform regular website audits to identify and fix technical issues that may affect search engine rankings.
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Use SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to monitor website performance and track key metrics.
- Generate regular reports on SEO performance, including traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- Analyze data to identify trends and insights, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the marketing, content, and development teams to align SEO strategies with overall business goals.
- Communicate SEO strategies, tactics, and performance updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing SEO strategies.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and HTML/CSS.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
