Your Education Should Be
Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
Your Professional Experience Should Be
8 to 12 years of Experience in Purchase, Sourcing & SCM activities in manufacturing industry or capital goods manufacturing industry.
(Preferred Industry: Heavy Engineering / Fabrication / Steel / Metals / Capital Goods Manufacturing)
SAP / JD Edwards Knowledge is Preferable.
Should have very good communication & negotiation skill

Production Consumables, PPE's, Pipes, Valves, Fitting, Tubes, Welding Consumables & Other Fabrication Materials.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be
- Procurement of production consumables,PPE's, Welding Consumables, Valves & other fabrication materials
- Prepare purchase order, place an order on vendor in line with purchasing policy of an organization.
- Vendor development Selection, Evaluation & Development
- Maintaining minimum inventory level
- Negotiating the price & controlling the cost
- Maintain on time delivery and assure quality norms
- Evaluate the vendor performance on the basis of price, quality & on time delivery
- Prepare MIS report to management about transactions made against each category
- Conducting meetings with vendors and negotiate and prepare the contract agreements
