Assistant Manager Production
This position reports to the Business unit manager and is based at Greater Mumbai.

What You Will Do
The Production Supervisor is responsible for delegating and supervising work, managing work schedules, developing maintenance plans, mentoring and evaluating staff, managing departmental budget, overseeing quality and safety of work, interpreting company policies, and participating in special projects as needed
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the production team to ensure high quality and timely delivery of products.
Develop and implement production plans and schedules to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, standards and driving implementation of IOSS and My Work My Safety Culture at shopfloor.
Ensure quality compliant product to be dispatched to customers and conduct investigation in case any complaint has been raised to avoid reoccurrence of issue.
All documentation to be maintained as per GMP Standards.
Maintain & perform Good Manufacturing Practices on the shop floor.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to improve OEE, OPE and Wastage to drive productivity and cost.
Manage inventory levels and coordinate with planning team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Provide regular reports to senior management on production performance and progress towards goals.
Develop and implement strategies to improve processes and procedures.
Supervise and mentor production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
Manage departmental budget and expenses, driving cost improvement initiatives and implementing cost controls as needed.
Ensure right number of manning is deployed on lines basis skills assessment conducted.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Participate in special projects as needed to support business objectives.
Building people capability to drive Digital Initiatives @shopfloor and OAC/EO Concepts at lines.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
6-8 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Minimum of 6-8 years of related experience in maintenance or a related field.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage and optimize production processes.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
Experience managing budgets and expenses, with a focus on cost control.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance and repair.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency in MS Office and production management software.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and vendors.
