We are hiring Assistant Manager - MEP for a leading Construction Company
Overview
The Assistant Manager - MEP plays a crucial role in our organization by overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of projects to ensure efficient and high-quality outcomes. This role is instrumental in coordinating with various teams to deliver MEP services that meet the required standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and coordinating MEP projects from initiation to completion
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on MEP systems and installations
- Supervise and lead a team of MEP technicians and engineers
- Review and approve MEP design and shop drawings
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Coordinate with other teams such as design, construction, and procurement
- Oversee the procurement of MEP materials and equipment
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources
- Address and resolve technical issues and conflicts
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections for quality control
- Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation
- Participate in project meetings and provide insightful inputs
- Support in the commissioning and handover of MEP systems
- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in MEP project management and coordination
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installations, and standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and teams effectively
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for MEP design and management
- Good understanding of budgeting and resource allocation
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex scenarios
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications or licenses as per local regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Compliance with safety and quality standards in MEP works
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in commissioning and testing of MEP systems
- Knowledge of sustainability and energy-efficient MEP solutions
