Overview
POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This position will be responsible for Overseeing the Manufacturing operations for Herbalife Products by ensuring smooth operations at the incumbent Contract Manufacturer. The primarily responsibility will be to Coordinate with contract manufacturing partner for smooth execution of plan. The position reports into Sr. Director Manufacturing. The position is responsible for ensuring compliance (cGMP, GSP,GDP etc) and sustainability of various checks and controls, CAPA implementation. This position will be responsible for overseeing ongoing Projects related to Quality Improvement, Continuous Improvement, Capacity expansion etc. and guiding the CM staff on Herbalife Manufacturing standards. The position will be responsible to manage, facilitate and review the investigations to ensure actual root cause and effectiveness of CAPA implemented. This position will provide routine status updates to his manager.

Roles & Responsibility
- Ensure Herbalife Manufacturing practices are followed.
- GMP, GSP, GDP compliances at CM sites.
- Ensure Process reconciliation, meeting Line Performance Targets, Tracking and delivering Manufacturing KPIs
- Developing the reporting team capability by imparting training and evaluating the performance.
- Monitoring of shop floor activities. GMP rounds of shop floor, warehouses, and service areas. Review of Manufacturing and packaging activities and to ensure Herbalife requirements have been fulfilled during manufacturing and packaging activities. Verification of in-process parameters of powder manufacturing & packaging, Granulation, Compression, coating, Capsule filling, Counter filling (Tablet & Capsule), stick packing. To support CMs with troubleshooting (if any) during manufacturing and packaging activities. Designing/drafting/review of batch documents.
- Manage, facilitate, document, and review investigations to ensure root causes are identified, corrective actions implemented, and the effectiveness of these corrective actions fulfil cGMP and business requirements. Conduct investigation for non-conformances along with CMs and Herbalife cross function teams to identify root cause. To support CMs to identify CAPA and implementation of CAPA. To check effectiveness of implemented CAPAs. Track open investigation & action items and ensure timely closure.
- Compilation of daily observations at shop floor and CAPA implemented.
- Creating MIS for internal Herbalife's Weekly and monthly operations reviews and responsible for ensuring Manufacturing KPIs are achieved, trending of KPIs, Actions on deviations and closure of all action items.
- Responsible for weekly and monthly reviews with the CMs staff and top management and identify areas of improvement through Gemba and Kaizen events.
- Validation of additional capacity assets for Herbalife Nutrition in existing contract manufacturing sites and Supporting business with all changes to firm plan, manage rejections etc. to ensure optimal utilization of allocated capacities to Herbalife.
- Trainings on various Herbalife processes and procedures to CM staff and management to make them understand our requirements.
- He will ensure and issue the RM/PM against the batch requirement in Oracle and to the CM as per production requirement.
- Drive visual management process to track progress of open investigations to assure appropriate timelines are met and escalate appropriately to assure all critical timelines are met
- Collaborate with cross functional team required to drive the set Goals.
- Support Operations team by providing training to CM teams, verification of closed action items and checking effectiveness and sustenance of implemented actions.
Skills
- Result Oriented/Getting things done.
- Team Player & Experience or trained in leading and contributing in Productivity projects.
- Capable of leading the teams of shop floor people. Handling contract manufacturing site will give advantage.
- Must be well versed with Microsoft office (Word, Power point & Excel)
- Good Communication Skills both written and verbal.
