CTC & NET PAY: 10 LPA & 56k approx. per month
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core Competency:
-Hands-on experience in troubleshooting of field instruments & control systems, and minor modifications.
-Selection, application, and specification of field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level), control valves, shutdown valves, etc.
-Proficiency in PLC/DCS, Fire and Gas detection system, Interlock shutdown system, CCTV surveillance system, Access control system, visitor entry screening system, and video conferencing.
-Experience in vibration monitoring system, Burner management system, Tank farm management system.
-Knowledge of Hazardous area classification, ISA standards, Basic safety instrument system, and Computer Networking.
Planning & Scheduling:
-Develop maintenance schedules for all instrumentation systems based on manufacturer recommendations, industry standards, and organizational needs.
-Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruption during maintenance activities.
-Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
-Develop maintenance schedule for office PCs, printers, Intranet & Internet services.
-Maintain history cards related to instrumentation department and comply with audit recommendations.
Equipment Inspection, Calibration, and Testing:
-Conduct regular inspections of instrumentation systems, troubleshoot issues promptly.
-Coordinate with vendors for procurement of replacement parts.
-Develop yearly calibration schedules and oversee calibration activities.
-Implement testing procedures to verify performance and maintain compliance records.
-Review PLC/DCS & TAS system performance daily and finalize AMCs with OEMs and other parties on time.
Leadership Skills:
-Supervise instrumentation maintenance personnel, assign tasks, and schedule work.
-Provide training and guidance to ensure team members perform effectively.
Process Improvement & Efficiency:
-Identify opportunities for process improvements within the maintenance department.
-Implement best practices to optimize instrumentation systems performance.
-Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
Regulatory Requirements:
-Ensure instrumentation systems meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
-Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary updates.
-Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
-Develop and manage departmental budget, forecast expenses, and allocate resources effectively.
-Identify cost-saving opportunities through improved maintenance practices or equipment upgrades.
-Monitor expenditures to ensure activities are within budget constraints.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational Qualifications:
B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation.
Experience:
7-8 years of experience in a continuous process industry.
Minimum 3 years in independent charge of installation and maintenance of instrumentation discipline.
