Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
Compliance:
- Responsible for all statutory compliances under various Labour laws. i.e filing Annual /monthly/ six monthly, quarterly Returns etc., maintaining registers, notice boards etc.
- Should handle employees queries related to ESIC, EPF / Pension etc. Should guide them on various related processes.
- Monitoring contract labour compliances.
- To ensure timely wage process, compliance by Contractors
- To amend / obtain registration certificates under CLRA
- To prepare required reports of contract workers
- Maintain updated in-depth knowledge and understanding of Industrial Relations procedures and laws.
- Keeping Management updated on amendment in labour laws, labour reforms, statutory updates, schemes etc.
- Liasioning with external agency for complete HR compliance.
- Handling Internal/External audits / auditors
Payroll & Benefits:
- Providing payroll inputs to vendor on monthly basis.
- Checking calculations & giving the ahead on payroll data processed by vendor.
- Checking salary register, PT, PF & ESIC deductions for payouts within the timeline.
- Adhering to local govt. laws while processing payroll for employees.
- Responsible for maintaining all the salary records of employees
- Timely payment of Full and final settlements
- Timely payment of Statutory Bonus and Exgratia
- Providing reports to management on request
- Administration of all benefits like group medical, parental, accident, and term life policies
- Stay abreast of the market and share timely updates with management on benefits trends
