About the role:

Designation: Assistant Manager - Finance

Reporting to: Sr Finance Manager

Location: Indiranagar, Bengaluru (On-site)

Detailed job description:

Controllership and taxation

Review and manage the outsourced accounting team with closure of books of accounts on a monthly basis.

Manage trade payables, trade receivables and advances of the platform business and actively follow up with

the stakeholders for clearing dependencies.

Take ownership of all statutory compliances including GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESIC, labour laws etc. and follow the

compliance calendar.

Build and manage relationships with banks and liase for smooth operation of the business.

Provide statutory and internal audit support and ensure smooth closure of external reviews.

Perform other day-to-day activities in the finance team.

Others

Co-ordinate with legal and secretarial teams for compliance, document review and record keeping.

Maintain compliance trackers for vendor agreements and contractual compliance.

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and

accuracy.

Skill and Competencies:

Strong ability to work with MS excel and Google sheets.

Working knowledge on Zoho inventory and Zoho books.

Understanding the workings of TDS and GST, due dates, and applicability.

Ability to self-direct work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment, and be comfortable with ambiguity.

Ability to communicate insights clearly.

Qualification and experience requirements:

Bcom with 4+ years of work experience.

Start up experience is a plus.
