Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance AM to join our team. You'll play a pivotal role in navigating the financial landscape of the burgeoning creator economy. Your responsibilities will encompass all facets of financial management, from crafting financial strategies to in-depth analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and insightful reporting, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the financial success of our creators and our platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Monitor the financial performance of content creators by analyzing financial data and providing inputs on which creators to continue collaborating with and which ones to discontinue based on financial metrics and profitability analysis
  • Prepare and update monthly GMV performance dashboard
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
  • Prepare tax returns, financial statements, MIS, expense and other finance reports
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other third-party service providers
  • Provide data analysis and support to management and other departments as required
  • Ensure liaising and undertaking timely compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting

Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the finance domain- SAAS tech startups preferred but not mandatory
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • Proficiency in advanced MS Excel
  • Prior experience with Zoho Books is an added advantage
  • Ability to handle complex data sets and derive relevant financial insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience in Big6 is an added advantage.
  • High degree of ownership and accountability
