I. Job purpose:
1. To manage day-to-day financial and accounting services
2. Ensure all accounts are current and up-to-date
3. To take charge of all legal matters
4. To Take charge and provide complete administrative support
5. Excellent writing and communication skill
II. Key accountabilities:
KRA #1: Adherence to all laid down statutory, relevant laws, ICAI standards and any and all regulatory bodies such as Municipalities, Banking and such relevant institutions and bodies.
KRA #2: Provide back-up documentation and duly supported explanations to Auditors.
KRA #3: Finalizing and filing all returns as required by law viz., GST TDS, Income Tax etc.
KRA #4: Ensure adequate insurance cover is current at all times to protect all companies assets
KRA #5: Prepare financial forecasts and manage the funds .
KRA #6: Ensure that critical requirements arising because of exigencies are catered for at all times thus making sure of minimum down times.
KRA #7: Maintain an up-to-date Pay roll.
KRA #8: Ensure all accounts are current and up-to-date.
KRA #11: Maintain office discipline as per rules and in consultation with the management
KRA #12: Maintain an up-to-date Assets register.
III. Job map:
Oversee and be responsible & accountable for results produced by the units under charge viz.:
A. Finance
Submission of MIS statements / Submission of key financial reports viz.: Income Statement; Balance Sheet; Cash Flow Statement
B. Accounts
Check and authorize all Petty Cash expenditure /
C. Administration
Be the one-stop :: first-stop :: last stop Officer responsible for all admin activities to cover issues related to working of the back-end office etc.
D. Check Purchase Vouchers of all expenses and authorize payments.
E. Submit to Management every month the P&L A/c and Balance Sheet
F. Ensuring housekeeping of the highest standard.
G. Hold periodic communication meetings with all levels of Staff & Officers.
H. Ensure all agreements are backed with appropriate legal documents etc., yet always attempting to reduce legalities.
I. Payments are received in time & made as per agreed to schedule.
