Job Description

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and various monthly / quarterly / annual reporting requirements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into business performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and develop financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
  • Work closely with business units to align financial goals with operational objectives.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three finance and accounting professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Implement effective credit control measures to minimize bad debts and improve cash flow.
  • Oversee vendor and customer reconciliations.
  • Taxation and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and filing requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to manage audits and tax filings.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and their impact on the business.
  • Internal Controls and Process Improvement:
  • Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial management.
  • Support the Finance Controller in implementing company-wide financial policies and procedures.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, HR, and IT, to support business initiatives.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Communicate effectively with the Finance Controller and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial matters.
