As Assistant Manager - Finance Accounts you will assist the finance manager or Head with FPA ( Financial Planning and analysis) in financial reporting area of the finance department. Your role will cover execution, compliance, planning and analysis in the areas of accounts, corporate financial reporting, FPA, Audits and extend to other functional areas of manufacturing finance.

Key Accountabilities
  • Handling day-to-day operation of the finance function to ensure proper accounting and finalization of company accounts in a timely manner
  • Manage the timely preparation and presentation of statutory books of accounts, financial statements, and annual reports, ensuring conformance to regulatory accounting standards
  • Prepare and analyze MIS reports to provide feedback to the Management
  • Month-end closing and reporting variance analysis following business plan.
  • Conduct variance analysis to determine the difference between projected actual results and implement corrective actions.
  • Presenting monthly performance reviews for each business unit, indicating key business highlights and areas for improvement to senior management.
  • To ensure timely closure of the accounting process for reporting as per group deadlines
  • Review and manage accounts payable and ensure all payments are as per process. Review and manage accounts receivable to ensure correct receivables for better cash flow planning
  • Compliance with internal, group statutory audits and smooth completion till their finalization; evaluate internal control systems periodically to improve upon the present controls to best practice level.
  • Proper control over fixed assets and maintenance of Fixed Assets Register(FAR)
  • Inventory Management- physical verification, controlling, damage, adjustment disposal. .
  • Reviewing the Product gross margin on a monthly basis. Reviewing the Cost of Goods sold on a monthly basis and identifying the variance for the same,
  • Coordination with the other departments in smooth operation of day-to-day business.
  • Prepare the detailed annual budget, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes..
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Any ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Prepare and submit markup working as per the Transfer pricing contract agreement.

Qualifications, Experience Skills
PG MBA/PGDM in Any Specialization, CA , inter CA with a minimum 3 years of experience in FPA, Financial Reporting and audits.

Job-Specific Skills
Proficient in financial reporting and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications like D 365, Onestream reporting tools
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset
