Looking for a candidate for IC role at Assistant Manager position with strong analytical skills, self-driven, target oriented who can work in a dynamic and fast pace environment. Should strong command on identifying process gaps and risks and taking corrective actions and establishing controls to fix the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record journal entries accurately and in accordance with applicable policies
- Daily/monthly Balance sheet reconciliations, research & analysis to substantiate the GL Balance with Sub-ledger balances and establish, monitor the process controls
- Perform Intercompany Accounting, Variance Resolution, Settlement and reconciliations
- Carry out variance analysis of GL Balances to identify the causes for any fluctuations
- Liaison with key customers and stakeholders providing further analysis, explanation and understanding wherever required.
- Participate in the continuous development of processes (including Lean) to increase efficiency, effectiveness, accuracy, timeliness, quality and user friendliness as well as reflecting regulatory change. Includes identification of opportunities, gaining approval, documentation, testing and implementation.
- Basic understanding of what is Insurance and how it works
- Good understanding of Insurance Accounting and it's terminologies
- Ensure all work complies with the internal control framework
- Work as part of a team to deliver ad-hoc work as required
- Open to work form office
- Flexible for US shift timings
- Knowledge about escheatment process and state return filings
- Knowledge about MunicipalFire tax filing would be an added advantage
Skillset Required:
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Working knowledge of Blackline
- Good Understanding about US GAAP and IFRS
