A Data Integrity Coordinator is responsible for centrally controlling the maintenance of master data within the Elementis JD Edwards system as related to Customers, Suppliers Items, Pricing and other related data throughout the system. They also support the business as data issues arise using control reports that are run daily, weekly and monthly. This role includes the review and implementation of process improvements to help the user community improve efficiency, accuracy and maximize the effectiveness of JD Edwards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures the global master data is entered correctly and consistently with the understanding of all Elementis policies, procedures and standards for data maintenance within JD Edwards.
- Enters and maintains the following data -
- File Maintenance data including Account Master, Business Unit Master, Branch Plants, Address Book, Customer Master, Supplier Master, Item Master and Item Branch
- Item Supplemental Data - unit of measure definitions, item preferences, and container code maintenance
- Customer Supplemental Data - contact information, and preference branches
- Advanced Pricing records
- Commission and Rebate data
- Calendar Maintenance which includes resource, transportation, and manufacturing calendars
- Interacts with Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Supply Chain so that overall reporting is accurate in JDE as well as within outside systems such as MI/BI, Wercs, Createform, Sales Force and Demantra.
- Requested data changes must be researched for validity and possible impacts on business.
- Responsible for running control reports as needed to identify erroneous and inconsistent data records in JDE and work to correct the data with proper approvals and in a timely manner.
- Ensures that the validation and the approval of published reports and query data are performed.
- Assists with special projects in regard to data cleansing and data loading when needed.
Knowledge/ Experience/ Skills required
- . Preferred 2-3 years of JD Edwards (One World) experience related specifically to Item Master, Item Branch, Advance Pricing, Address Book & Customer Master.
- . Must be extremely literate in all Microsoft Office applications.
- . Must be project oriented as well as a team player, detailed, well organised, skilled in setting priorities, and can multi-task.
- . Pro-active approach for recognising, investigating and solving problems.
- . Ability to communicate effectively with other departments.
Planning of work and how it is generated
Daily work will be self-generated in response to interaction with other departments. Some initiatives will require a Sr. Management approval from other areas of the business.

Level of Autonomy
- . Work is assigned within broadly defined procedures. Job holder will need to consult with Data Integrity Manager when there is major deviation from standard practice, or when issues arise which need immediate attention.
- . Ability to represent department in group settings or discussions related to Data Integrity group responsibilities.
