AB InBev India is looking to hire Assistant Manager - Admin ER/IR for its People team based
out of Kolkata.
Employee Welfare:
- Liaison Role: Act as a bridge between workers and management to foster effective communication and mutual interests.
- Health and Safety: Ensure worker health and safety by monitoring conditions and addressing issues promptly.
- Mental Health Support: Provide counseling for mental health challenges and track worker well-being.
- Safety Training: Conduct training programs on workplace safety and legal compliance to prevent hazards.
- Issue Resolution: Address harassment and abuse incidents swiftly, maintaining a respectful workplace for all.
Administration :
- Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations, including office management, procurement of supplies, and maintenance of facilities for the region.
- Ensure that security operations are intact and there are no threats from external bodies by conducting regular security audits and risk assessments .
- Manage transportation services for employees, ensuring timely and safe commuting.
- Oversee the canteen operations, ensuring hygienic and quality food services for employees by coordinating with canteen staff to manage menus, supplies, and budgets.
- Supervise housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the brewery.
- Oversee gardening activities to ensure well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces.
- Ensure the ZBB budget is within limits concerning security, canteen ,housekeeping and gardening matters.
- Ensure and monitor the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) costs and effective implementation of welfare practices.
IR/ER & Statutory compliance :
- Support the people partner to resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
- Develop and implement IR strategies that foster a positive working environment.
- Act as the main point of contact for trade unions and employee representatives.
- Support in conducting disciplinary, grievance, and performance management procedures.
- Monitor the Attendance Hours of Associates, 3PL Manhours and ensure no Non-Compliance
- Ensure 3PL Service provides maintain the statutory records like PF, ESI registers and submission of Returns
- Ensure submission of Factory License Renewal, Labour License renewals, PT, PF, ESI registers are up to date and complied for the Brewery.
- Liaison with the various statutory bodies like ALC's office, Factory Inspectors Office that affect the day-to-day functioning of the unit.
- Monitor the Overtime hours of Associates and 3PL Manpower.
Manpower Planning, KPI tracking & payroll :
- Support the people partner to resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
- Develop and implement IR strategies that foster a positive working environment.
- Act as the main point of contact for trade unions and employee representatives.
- Support in conducting disciplinary, grievance, and performance management procedures.
- Monitor the Attendance Hours of Associates, 3PL Manhours and ensure no Non-Compliance
- Ensure 3PL Service provides maintain the statutory records like PF, ESI registers and submission of Returns

VPO (Voyager Plant Optimization) :
- Ensure Implementation of VPO Practices as per People Pillar Handbook
- Implementation & Driving initiatives like nSKAP, L&D, Talent Management, Autonomous Teams etc., to improve employee productivity and Multiskilling.
- Implementation of Engagement Calendar, R&R Block, Recruitment drivers etc, are happening as per the People Pillar Handbook
- Safety Pillar, Environment Pillar, Quality Pillar, Management Pillar activities like 5S, PRP Audits, AB reports, SLA Monitoring, BD, Process Mapping etc., are being reviewed at regular intervals as per the respective handbooks
- Participating in EVP Activities in and around Brewery
