Position Description
Main purpose of this position is to plan, organise and follow-up for the material that is ordered. Receiving the material as per the priorities of the project with compliance to technical parameters in PO.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitoring the Purchase order deliverables as per project time lines.
- monitoring Adherance to ITP / QAP requirements at supplier end.
- Expediting visits to supplier premises for follow-up of material. Auditing the process adherance.
- Liasoning wirh quality and PPC / Shop for required inputs.
- Managing day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms
- Developing long-term partnerships with local & overseas suppliers
- Review of Bar Chart for process flow at endor.
- Prepering MOM for the outcome of the visit.
- Capacity assessment of the vendor w.r.t. machines, manpower, etc.
- Preperation of MIS and reporing to HO in prescribed format at regular intervals.
- On time delivery performance monitoring of supplier.
- Vendor counselling meetings for quality improvement.
- NCR/CAR review.
- Managing statutory compliances at vendor as per company requirements.
- Ensuring Techncial and commercial Documentation requirements at vendor.
Required Competencies: - Knowledge of various engineering and manufacturing standards and Processes
- Knowledge of Import export documentation and regulations
- Contract Management skills. Possess good knowledge on commercial and Legal aspects of contract
