Job Summary: The Assistant Manager supports the Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing team activities, and ensuring that projects and tasks are completed efficiently. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating with different departments, and contributing to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
- Assist the Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating operational activities.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance, and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure that all operations are carried out in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Team Management:
- Supervise and support team members, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of staff.
- Foster a positive team environment and encourage collaboration and professional development.
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Manager and other stakeholders.
Customer Service:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in managing client relationships and developing strategies to improve client services.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform service improvements.
Administrative Duties:
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required by the Manager.
- Manage schedules, appointments, and communications for the Manager.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking.
Policy and Procedure Development:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Ensure team members are aware of and adhere to company policies.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to enhance operational efficiency.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of IT industry practices and trends.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
